About Jim Sidoti...

 

Jim graduated from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a Minor in Theater Arts. He earned his Screen Actors Guild Membership (SAG) in Los Angeles. Since becoming a Financial Core Actor (FICORE), he has appeared on-camera as a spokesman and as an actor in instructional videos and films, both union and non-union. He has been in many student films for schools such as U.C.L.A. and R.I.T. and has been cast in over 100 commercials including national campaigns and local commercials airing in cities throughout the United States. 

Jim studied acting with The William Esper Studios out of New York City. He has had training in both the Meisner Technique and the Stanislavski’s Method. Some of Jim's other acting coaches have included Jeff Conaway (Taxi/Greece), Susan Gibney (Star Trek/Crossing Jordan), and Frank Rossi (White Men Can’t Jump/Miami Vice).

 

As a voice actor, Jim has written, voiced, and produced successful commercials, industrial videos, and promotional pieces. After attending voice-over conferences throughout the country, Jim founded ROC-Voices in Rochester, NY. A local voice-over group dedicated to learning, teaching, and sharing to all skill levels in a social environment.

As an on-air personality, Jim is the morning show host on FICKLE 93.3 in Rochester, NY operated by The Stephens Media Group. The stations in this group also include WARM 101.3 and 94.1 THE ZONE. 

 

In his spare time Jim enjoys playing drums in local bands and the free food that comes with being in a band.
